My Story
​Prophetess Deborah Gould was saved in 1979, received the call to ministry in 1985 and began to devote herself to God through church attendance, prayer, bible study and fasting. She was ordained as a minister on April 22, 1991, at El Shaddai Ministries in Detroit, functioning in the office of an Evangelists. She began evangelizing, singing and teaching at churches in the Metropolitan Detroit area in 1980’s and 90's including: Rose of Sharon Ministries, El Shaddai Ministries, Smith Prophetic Ministries, Church of the Living Christ, Triumphant Life Christian Church, Faith Teaching Ministries, New Creation Baptist Church, Velma Rosemond’s School of Ministry, Faith Emmanuel Cathedral, Zion Refuge, New Life Christian Church, Indiana Church of God in Christ, Growing in Grace Ministries, Christian Harmony, World Deliverance Temple and many other churches in the Detroit Metro area.​ She has traveled internationally with Gary Oates Ministries to Bogotá, Columbia and Manizales.
The Lord began to powerfully anoint her in prayer and the power of God would fall during her meetings. In 1998 she felt the call of God to begin teaching specifically on prayer and began holding meetings at Triumphant Life Christian Church. Through this move of God her own ministry was birthed, “The Prayer Assembly.” In 2000 she moved her prayer services to Flat Rock holding monthly meetings, conferences, training churches, leaders, and intercessors in prayer, deliverance and the prophetic.

She's worked with community organizations including Open Door Rescue Mission and Vista Maria Girls Home seeing many souls come to the Lord. In 2006 and 2007 she initiated a 9-month certificate bible study course at World Deliverance Temple. 2009-2014 she opened and ran a designer clothing boutique. She managed everything from marketing, inventory, personnel, customer service, visual merchandising, buying and financial management. This gave her an understanding of the retail industry and how to launch a business.
She was ordained as a Prophetess in 2017 by Bishop Roy D. Ferguson. ​She held prayer meetings in 2018 in Lathrup Village at Community Fellowship Church. In 2019 she moved services to New Saint Mark Family Center in Detroit MI. Currently she holds weekly Zoom and In-person prayer meetings training in prayer, deliverance and the prophetic; she's established an online “Intimacy Community” that’s focused on a deeper walk with the Lord Jesus Christ; and she is building a “House of Prayer" in Southfield, MI.
Her call and purpose is to train and raise up intercessors, prophetic people and those who flow in deliverance to impact their churches, community and the world for the Lord Jesus Christ. She moves in the gifts of the Spirit, deliverance and healing as the Lord wills. She continues to evangelize, teach, train and preach in the Metro-Detroit area.
Prophetess Deborah holds the following degrees: Bachelor’s in business administration from Siena Heights, a Masters in Teaching, Special Education Certification in Learning Disabilities, and an Educational Specialist degree from Wayne State University. She's taught in the Detroit and Southfield Public School Systems for 22 years and retired in 2023.
She’s currently aligned with Glory of Zion Ministries-Kingdom Harvest Alliance and is a covenant partner with Apostle Lee Williams of Merciful Ministries. She resides in the city of Southfield, MI.
